Why do I have to get my dog groomed more often than I get myself groomed?

Two great questions! First lets deal with what's in a scheduled appointment time.  Why do we set up appointment times instead of have everyone show up first thing in the morning and then groom first come first serve type basis?

Tina and Pluto update

Whew!! What a way to end 2013...as you'll recall Tina became the proud mama of a sweet German Shepherd named Pluto in November. Well, not two weeks after Pluto came home, he decided to go on a walkabout by himself. I got the frantic text from Tina saying he had been missing for about 4 hours and that she wouldn't be making it into work the next day.  Immediately I drove to her house with my dog, Bear, to walk with Tina through the bitterly cold woods surrounding her house. Well, Little Shop had a great year. After 3 years of being in our new location it was time to start settling in, though I feel that's a process that never really ends, only progresses. So the "Summer of Little Shop" began.  First we added some new windows to the bathing room which helped with some of the noise pollution in the rest of the salon.
